Privacy notice

This notice explains what we do with the information you send us. In short: we use it to reply to you, and to introduce you to a property if that is what you have asked for. We do not sell it.

Not finished yet. Everything in square brackets below has to be replaced with your real details before this page goes live. Until then it is a draft, not a privacy notice.

Information sent outside your country

Because our host and email provider are in the United States, your information is transferred there. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses and the EU–US and Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework. [CONFIRM THIS AGAINST YOUR ACTUAL PROVIDERS' TERMS.]

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for [NUMBER] years so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off, and then deleted. If you are on our email list, we keep you there until you ask us to stop.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our using it, or ask us to stop emailing you. Email info@altostates.com and we will deal with it.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to a data protection regulator: in France the CNIL (cnil.fr), in Switzerland the FDPIC (edoeb.admin.ch), in the UK the ICO (ico.org.uk), or the authority where you live.

Cookies

This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. [IF THAT CHANGES, THIS SECTION MUST CHANGE TOO, AND EU AND UK VISITORS MUST BE ASKED FIRST.]

Changes

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page. Last updated [DATE].
